Empire’s distinctive grain and grey hues deliver pattern, texture and tone to projects by adding layers of interest and natural warmth to interiors. Reclaimed wood connects you to the outside world through its texture, smell and appearance, bringing nature indoors. Discover the beauty of Empire through samples, available to order through our website or through our Design Centres in London and Cheshire.
The charm of a reclaimed wood floor is hard to define and impossible to replicate. Reclaimed wood holds wonderful records of a past life, from beautiful patinas, rusty nail holes and weather cracks, to the smooth sections which have been corroded by the repeated touch of a thousand hands. The character that reclaimed wood holds is inimitable and its unique history provides a talking point to all who come into contact with it.

WOOD BEYOND THE FLOOR
Interior designers and architects are looking at multi-surface wood with fresh eyes, resulting in a resurgence of wood surfaces in both residential and commercial projects. Reclaimed wood on walls, ceilings and floors brings warmth and personality to a room, whatever the interior style.
This year we’ve introduced new designs to our Bold Surfaces portfolio, satisfying appetites for multi-surface wood. Uncover a mélange of new tones, textures and patterns perfect for use on walls, ceilings and joinery.
Much of the wood in this portfolio is reclaimed, with hidden surprises and vibrant secrets concealed within each plank. Our craftspeople have worked meticulously to reclaim this timber, ensuring that it’s restored to live another day. The characterful markings that point to former uses have been accentuated during the restoration process.
