Nando’s, Southgate

Who said wood was just for floors? In this recent project with Nando’s and Stac Architecture our Ceruse wood was specified for the doors of this bathroom unit and mixed with bespoke cladding for the ceiling of the main restaurant.

Accentuating the original Art Deco design and radial nature of the structure, the design also references similar African forms that identify with the Nando’s brand.  Achieved by exploring parallels between the geometry and motifs of Art Deco design and African Art & Architecture, the end result is a fusion of two identities that perfectly balance.

Skip sawn and white-washed, Ceruse is a solid reclaimed Oak cladding with a characterful texture and subtle grain.
